5.14.1 Purpose
The project Members screen controls who has access to this project and what they can do within it. This is where the permission presets defined in section 4.6 are applied to individuals.

5.14.3 Adding members
Select Add member. The dialog runs in two steps: choosing the people, then choosing what they can do.
5.14.4 Step 1 — selecting people
Two routes are offered. The Workspace members tab lists people who already exist in the organisation; tick one or more to add them.

The Email invite tab allows someone outside the workspace to be invited. Enter the email address; the dialog marks the address as a new user and asks for a first and last name before the person can be added.

5.14.5 Step 2 — setting permissions
The second step assigns access for each person selected.
Figure 65 — Choosing what each person can do
The custom permission grid is the same one used when creating a preset: Overview, Planning, Cost Tracking, LV / BOQ, Invoices, Trades, and the remaining areas listed in section 4.6.3.
Note: There are therefore three distinct controls over what a person can do: the organisation role from section 3.1, the project Admin toggle here, and the permission preset with any per-person customisation. A preset is a starting point, not a constraint — once customised, a member’s actual permissions may no longer match the preset named against them in the list.
